Metrological control laboratory
The laboratory is needed to monitor the state of the measurement systems and to ensure the accuracy of the marine data collected. We do not currently have one that requires more frequent calibration of measuring systems’ sensors. For calibration they must be sent abroad.
Activities planned:
It is planned to prepare a suitable room, to supply the necessary instruments and equipment and to train the service staff.
Expected users of the laboratory services are: members of the MASRI consortium, research institutes and universities from the country and the Black Sea region; governmental and local organizations operating marine measurement systems; small and medium-sized enterprises; maritime business.
